I printed up her name and was able to use the tip of my hot iron to transfer the name label onto the inside tongue of her shoes. I've also used it to label the inside of her ski gloves, socks, just about everything that she has to take to classes....easier to use than a fabric ink pen and you can place the label in a discrete place on the item.I have even used it to label many of my rock and mineral specimens. Those labels have stayed on so far. I'm curious to see whether they stay on those rocks or not. 15 of 15 people found the following review helpful By FNU MNU LNU (Midwest, USA) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Brother TZFA3 1/2" Navy Blue on White Fabric Iron-on Tape (9.8 ft) (Office Product) My husband needed to label his mother's clothes as she was in a nursing home and labeling clothing is the only way to prevent property loss. I designed one label and printed it out about thirty times. Then, he ironed them on to her clothing, typically affixing the iron-on label over the product label inside the garmet. We were impressed that the iron-on labels survived laundering and remained affixed and did not fade. This is much quicker than sewing name tags onto clothing. I think the fabric tape will come in handy for labeling jackets and the like for our kids. 10 of 10 people found the following review helpful By Bluegingham (Minneapolis, MN) - See all my reviews This review is from: Brother TZFA3 1/2" Navy Blue on White Fabric Iron-on Tape (9.8 ft) (Office Product) I bought this labeling tape to mark my son's clothes at daycare (required). Fabric pens are messy and hit or miss on ruing the actual garments. Overall I'm pretty pleased with the the labelmaker tapes. I've learned that you have to watch the heat setting on your iron (not too hot) and really apply pressure for a bit for good adhesion. I've labeled approximately a dozen items and only had two tags fall off in the wash. I would recommend for anyone using for a similar purpose. |
